HOW BEST TO FACILITATE CHANGE IN YOUR ORGANIZATION?

Management needs to be the Agents of Change in their organization.

Management needs to be proactive, not reactive.

Consider the following steps:

  1. Through employee engagement, surface dissatisfaction with the status quo; get the pulse on the perceived organizational problems.
  2. Provide a vision of the future state for the organization.
  3. Develop a process to move from the status quo to the future state.
  4. Reduce the costs of change.
  5. Give employees a sense of control over their work environments, do not let them feel isolated or powerless.
  6. Assign some employees to work on cross functional projects so they can understand their job in the content of the entire organization’s strategy.
  7. Identify possible groups offering resistance to change and be prepared to respond to resistance with facts and reason.
  8. Identify important stakeholders that can help promote change in the organization.
  9. Make larger goals easier to achieve by dividing them into a series of smaller attainable goals that support each other.
  10. Assess the attitude and aptitude of staff and realize that good performers today may not have the skill set needed to implement the plan that is creating your company’s tomorrow.
  11. Celebrate Wins and Lessons Learned.

SCHOOL ACCREDITATION SUPPORT

School accreditation is a voluntary process that recognizes an educational institution as meeting certain standards for quality. The accreditation process is a type of quality assurance that involves an external agency evaluating an institution's services and operations. If the institution meets the agency's criteria, it is granted accredited status.

School accreditation has two fundamental purposes: to assure the quality of the institution or program, and to assist in the improvement of the institution or program. Accreditation, which applies to institutions or programs, is to be distinguished from certification and licensure which apply to individuals.

When a school holds accreditation status, it means an outside agency has thoroughly vetted its academic programs for rigorousness, quality, and adherence to educational standards. Additionally, it ensures that a school is stable, both fiscally and structurally.

KECS offers school accreditation support to any school interested in providing support to any school interested in completing an unbiased third-party  review of its academic, leadership and fiscal structure.

KECS will assist any school to undergo the necessary internal assessment in order to build a valid, credible reputation among fellow institutions, students and the public. Accreditation of a K-12 program is a voluntary process by which a private organization gives its “stamp of approval” to a school's teaching standards, safety protocols, financial status, and curriculum. Accredited schools are held to strict standards and must maintain those standards with each renewal.  With an accredited institution, a student has some assurance of receiving a quality education and gaining recognition by other colleges and by employers of the course credits and degrees earned.
